Who is this training intended for?
Any food service staff involved in the preparation or service of food will benefit from this training. Our comprehensive course will make sure you and/or your staff are appropriately prepared to meet the challenges of keeping your food and patrons safe. Our course is of the highest standard and serves as a great tool for in-house training. If your state requires that you or your staff earn a food handler permit please check with your local health department for an approved list of providers. Please note that this certification is not as high of a standard as the Manager's Food Safety Certification. Do you offer this training as an in-person class?
It is possible that we can bundle this training with a Manager's Food Safety Class. If you have a group of 15 or more people please call us at 888.892.9477).
How long is my permit good for?
Most states require you to renew your food handler card every 3 years, however some county health departments develop their own interpretation of the requirements. For more information contact your local health deparment.
